CHAPTER 4 Time was edging closer to the Royal Woods Elementary School Christmas play. The props were all complete and they were all in place on the stage. They looked fantastic and really set the scene. Luna and her band had practiced all the the songs over and over and they were as perfect as possible. Lincoln and Clyde had been practicing all Lincoln’s lines together and everyone else’s lines too. Lincoln was feeling far more confident about his role now. In fact, he now knew the whole play off by heart and swore he could be an understudy for anybody if needed. Rita Loud had invited her friend Kathleen, from her college days and nanny for the 4 youngest Louds. Everyone was looking forward to being in the play and those that weren’t in the play were looking forward to watching it. It was a very exciting time for all.
